Mount Lebanon


Mayrouba (Arabic: ميروبا‎; additionally spelled Meyrouba or Mairouba) is a town and region in the Keserwan District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. Its normal height is 1,300 meters (4,300 ft) above ocean level and its absolute land zone is 823 hectares. Mayrouba’s occupants are overwhelmingly Maronite Catholic. Starting at 2008, the town had a school with 50 students and seven organizations with more than five representatives.

There are a few Stone Age archeological destinations in the region that have characterized the area as the sort site of the Mayroubian culture.
